NYT Crossplay Cheat — Board Word Finder
Enter your 7-tile rack, any letters already on the board you want to connect to, and your current round. The solver finds every valid word and shows the correct Crossplay score with the round multiplier applied.
How to Use This Tool
- Enter the tiles on your rack (up to 7 letters). Use ? for a blank tile.
- Optionally enter anchor letters — tiles already on the board that your new word must connect to. These expand the letter pool available for word generation.
- Select your current round (1–5) to apply the correct score multiplier.
- Click Find Best Words. Results are sorted by Crossplay score, highest first.
- Use the Point Calculator to factor in premium squares (DL, TL, DW, TW) for your chosen play.
Crossplay Scoring Reference
Letter Point Values
- 1 pt: A, E, I, O, U, L, N, R, S, T
- 2 pts: D, G
- 3 pts: B, C, M, P
- 4 pts: F, H, V, W, Y
- 5 pts: K
- 8 pts: J, X
- 10 pts: Q, Z
- 0 pts: Blank tile
Round Multipliers
- Round 1: 1× (no multiplier)
- Round 2: 2× your word score
- Round 3: 3× your word score
- Round 4: 4× your word score
- Round 5: 5× your word score
Premium squares (DL, TL, DW, TW) are applied before the round multiplier. Use the Point Calculator for a full breakdown.
