How to Use Word Descrambler

  • Available Letters: Enter all the letters you have available (required)
  • Dictionary: Choose between Words with Friends, International Scrabble (SOWPODS), or all combined
  • Single Wildcard (?): Use ? for blank tiles or unknown letters (e.g., CAT?? finds words using CAT + 2 blanks)
  • Pattern Wildcard (*): Use * for zero or more letters (e.g., C*T finds CAT, CART, CONVERT, etc.)
  • Starts With: Filter words that begin with specific letters
  • Ends With: Filter words that end with specific letters
  • Contains: Filter words that contain specific letters anywhere
  • Word Length: Find words of a specific length only
  • All filters can be combined for more precise results

  • Perfect for Scrabble, Words with Friends, crosswords, and puzzle solving

Examples:

Basic: EXAMPLE → Finds all words from those letters

Single Wildcards: CAT?? → Finds 5-letter words that can be made with CAT + 2 blanks

Pattern Matching: C*T → Finds words starting with C, ending with T

Mixed Wildcards: C?T* → Finds words like CAT, CATS, CUTTING, etc.

With Filters: STES + Start:S + End:S + Length:4 → Finds SETS
